Two things were quietly wrong with the Cryptogram. After you picked a letter and typed your guess, the puzzle didn't move on to the next letter — so every letter you typed landed on the same square and rubbed out the one before it, and the only way to fill the message in was to click each letter first. And if you did decode the whole quote, nothing happened: no “Puzzle Complete”, no credit towards your streak, unless you happened to press Check. Both are fixed. Type a letter and the puzzle steps to the next one on its own, and the moment the last letter falls into place the quote is revealed and the win is yours — hint or no hint. The Check button still works exactly as before if you like using it.

A plain answer to the question people search for most often: do I have to install anything? No — and the page lists the ten browser games readers start most, plus what works on an iPad, offline and without an account.
